Parkinson’s Disease (PD) Care
Parkinson’s Disease (PD), a neurodegenerative disorder affecting the brain’s dopamine-producing regions, causes motor symptoms such as slowed movements, tremors, small movements, and balance or gait issues, including shuffling or freezing. Non-motor symptoms, often less recognized, may include sleep disturbances, cognitive changes, bowel or bladder issues, mood disorders, and pain.
At Neuro Logic Rehabilitation and Wellness, we combine evidence-based exercise and balance training with medication to significantly enhance the quality of life and function for individuals with PD. Our therapists, including those certified in Parkinson Wellness Recovery (PWR!®) and experienced in LSVT BIG, design personalized exercise programs tailored to each patient’s unique impairments. Regular, intensive exercise serves as a powerful form of medicine, promoting long-term health and mobility.
